Getting Started

How do we set things up?

Once the contracts are signed, there are a few key steps to get started:

  1. Set up your products and rates – You can input your products and rates, or we can handle the setup for an additional fee, depending on the complexity.
  2. Set up your team – Provide basic information such as team members’ names, countries, roles, and emails.
  3. Configure the app – Set up your business rules and preferences.
  4. Start selling – Once configured, you’re ready to begin accepting bookings.

How long does it take to set everything up?

Setup time depends on the amount of data and your specific needs. For a basic setup, it typically takes around two weeks.

Will we need training?

Lumis is designed to be intuitive as possible and it is designed soa travel partner does not need any training. However, it is advisable for Admin users to have some training in particular.  We can help with this side of things

Do we need to change our static landing page?

No, there’s no need to alter your existing landing page. We can simply add a "Sign In" button to your site, which will direct users to Lumis.

Will the site have my branding?

Yes, your site will feature your logo throughout, and documents generated can have either your logo or your travel partners’ logo (white-label option).

Pricing and plans

What are the available pricing plans?

We offer three plans:

  • Core Plan: Includes all the essential features.
  • Enterprise Plan: Includes everything in the Core Plan plus Task Management, Supplier and Partner APIs.
  • Custom Plan: Allows you to customize Lumis with additional features like Lumis AI, OTA comparison, a Travel Agent Widget, or creating your own B2B or B2C site.

Do you offer a free trial or demo version?

Yes, we offer a 28-day demo trial version.

Are there any additional costs (setup fees, transaction fees, etc.)?

There’s a one-time setup fee of $5,000 for the Core Plan and $7,500 for the Enterprise Plan. The setup fee for the Custom Plan depends on your specific requirements.

Can I upgrade or downgrade my plan?

Yes, you can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time.

Connecting with Partners and Hotels

How do we connect to hotels?

Depending on your requirements, we can handle the connection for you, allowing you to make instant bookings with partnered hotels.

How can we distribute our rates?

You can use our Partner API, which allows your travel partners to access and consume your rates directly. They will need to integrate things on their side and we can asisst with this, if required.

How can we give access to our travel partners?

It’s simple! Add their names, emails, and link them to their travel company in Lumis. With a click of a button, they’ll receive an email prompting them to set up their login.

Can we set different rates by country and travel partners?

Yes, Lumis allows you to set varying rates based on country and travel partner, offering flexibility in pricing

We offer certain benefits to our travel partners. Can Lumis support this?

Absolutely. You can create travel partner membership schemes and assign specific benefits or perks to those schemes directly within Lumis.

Bookings nd Operations

How can we manage bookings?

Lumis provides an Booking Management area where your team can see all the bookings information and documents in one place. We also have a dedicated Operations workspace, where your team can create and manage tasks, assign tasks to others (e.g., finance-related tasks), and set priorities and reminders for efficient operation.

What will happen to my existing bookings?

We will work closely with you to ensure a seamless transition of existing bookings into the platform, minimizing disruption to your business.

Do all of our agents need to log in?

This is up to you, but we recommend that all agents log in, as the rates and information on the platform are typically confidential.

Lumis AI

What is the price for Lumis AI?

Pricing includes an initial setup fee, which depends on the amount of data you have, followed by a monthly fee based on the number of requests made.

Support and Maintenance

What kind of customer support is available?

You will have a dedicated account manager who will assist you with the initial setup and training. As part of the Core Plan, you receive 5 hours of support per month, and 8 hours per month with the Enterprise Plan.

How often is the platform updated?

Our skilled development team is continuously releasing new features. We will keep you informed as new features are released.

Will I be notified of upcoming changes or maintenance?

Yes, we provide regular updates and will keep you informed of any upcoming changes or scheduled maintenance.
